TLDR; I have a hair-brained idea to write a story in serial form on my site for free. It’s weird, terrifying, odd, but hopefully some of the stranger people out there will find some value in it.
Starting next week on Monday August 24th I’ll be starting a new project on my website called Darkshield.
Without spoiling too much, Darkshield is a mysterious corporation that houses bizarre and paranormal things. John is a death row inmate who finds himself trapped in the belly of a Darkshield facility confronting a variety of horrifying and impossible situations.
My plan is to release the book one chapter at a time every week for free on my website and other locations. The story is broken into Arcs that follow a particular character over a period of time. John’s Arc 1 for instance has 10 chapters of the insanity-inducing chaos he encounters.
This is meant to be a fun writing project that allows me to flex my creative muscles, tell the stories I’ve been wanting to tell, and hopefully entertain a few people along the way. It is definitely weird, horrifying, creepy, and any other eyebrow raising adjective you can think of.
If this sounds like something that might interest you then feel free to tune in every Monday to see what’s going to happen next and enjoy the story in serial fashion. I will have John’s Arc 1 available in its entirety on sites like Amazon and Smashwords on August 24th for those who can’t wait 10 weeks to hear the whole story.
I’ll be extremely grateful for anyone who’s willing to read the story and provide their feedback. I do have a way you can support me through Patreon if that interests you. The book will forever be free on my site and becoming a patron is not required in any shape or form. But if I have enough financial support I can justify spending more time on Darkshield and other projects which leads to more content you can read.
I hope to see you on August 24th for the first chapter. Stay tuned to this blog or various social media sites that are listed below to find out further details or exciting developments with Darkshield and other future projects.
Can’t wait!
